Cute House

House-Hunting, Real Estate Investment, and Dating: Move Beyond the "Cute" Ones!
Whether it's people, puppies, or houses, most human beings have a natural attraction to cute things. Cute people get more dates. Cute houses get more money. Hollywood is full of examples of very cute people who, though they are initially very attracted to each other, soon decide that "cute" wasn't enough. The same thing can happen with home ownership -- that "cute house" might not be all that you hope it is. Here are a few things to consider when trying to get beyond the "cute factor."

Sometimes a great house is obscured by a not-so-great exterior. But let's face it, how much time do you spend looking at the outside of your house? As with long-term relationships, it's the inside that counts. For example, split-level homes are almost always cuter than ramblers, but the moment you have a sprained ankle, C-section or other physical challenge you'll gladly give up a lot of "cute" to avoid a few stairs.

Flippers love ugly, not cute, houses. Why? Because they're cheap and often they can look a lot better with just a little work. You know those makeover shows on television, where some different clothes, a little makeup, and a haircut make somebody look a lot better? Sometimes the same goes for a little paint, a little carpet, and a few well-placed bushes around a house.

Painting Pictures for Children's Rooms
Are you looking for ways to brighten up your child's room? Have you thought about painting pictures for their walls? You can then customize the painting so that it is exactly what you want it to be.

* Look at the decor that is in there now. Is there something you can pick out of that decor that you could do a simple drawing of? Once the drawing is done, you just fill it in with acrylic paint. The background can be plain or you can add some simple scenery.

* Decide what size you want, buy a canvas at an art store in that size. If you buy stretched canvas, you can paint the edges and you won't even need a frame.

* Painting whimsical trees is simple. Just do a circle for the leaves and two lines for the trunk. Funky flowers can be done with a circle in the middle and 4-5 ovals surrounding that circle. A train or firetruck is just simple boxes put together with some circles for wheels, add a ladder or a railroad track.

* Look at various children's wall art online, most of the paintings can be broken down easily into simple shapes and lines that are put together. Find a picture you like with these simple shapes and use that as a guideline for your own picture. Even cute animals are generally simple shapes that are put together to make a cute cartoon-like animal.

* Customizing the painting with your child's name is always a fun idea. Some people even do a large name taking up most of the canvas and then do small decorations around the name such as polka dots, or other simple designs.

* Hang the picture with a nail or to really make it pop you can glue/tack a ribbon onto the back of the canvas and hang it with a cute bow.

The best thing about children's art is that kids love the simple designs. That is the way their brains think at a young age and it is easy for them to use their imagination when they see these simple designs.

Cute Anime

Cute Anime Cartoons

Lucky Star.
Lucky star has no plot, as plain as that. It's purely a comedy series. The series is only driven by the most popular character of the series, Konata, even if you don't like the comedy in it, if you're an otaku (anime nerd.) you'll like her.

K-on.
K-on is an anime about high school girls in a club together, yay! I am sure there won't be any extreme boredom. So in case you haven't guessed it's not that interesting, but they're all in a band together, thanks to the Light and Music Club. The series starts off with only four members of the band, and later on at the end of the first season we get a new character, sadly she is not interesting either. Now don't get me wrong, the music their band makes is good, but the characters are, well, dull. The show follows them in their normal life practicing, making new songs, and wait for this one - buying food! But never the less it's still cute, I guess.

Azumanga Daioh.
Well, it's, different. Okay this show is insane, admittedly you have to wait a bit for it to get really funny. It's about a bunch of girls in High School, and what makes the show cute is the little girl who skipped a couple of grades to be in High School. But I must warn you, if you do want to watch it, don't watch it all in one go. It will turn your mind to mush.

Card Captors. (Card Captor Sakura.)
Card Captors is about a girl called Sakura, she opened a book one day and then a whole bunch of cards came out and flew around the city and stuff. Now she has to get them back. But she also has to contend with a douche-bag love interest. Yay! Plus I think she's ten so that's where we get the cute from.

Gakuen Alice.
Gakuen Alice is about a girl that goes to a school for people with super powers! But she's ten or something so we don't get to see much fighting. Did I mention she's dense, pure, and incredibly kind. So if that's what she's like than yes you guessed it, her love interest is a douche. It has a very simplistic art style, nothing great or new, but at least the manga is better, go read that if you can find it.

Sgt. Frog
Sgt. Frog is about a group of space frogs, trying to conquer Earth. They live with a human family and are only allowed to stay because the Mother of the family is a manga artist who likes to use them for ideas. If isn't clear already, the space frogs suck at their job. The art style is surprisingly childish, don't show this to a kid because they won't get the pop culture references.

Winter Fashion Tips for Woman

Winter can be one of the hardest months on woman's fashion. Sadly, not everything that is cute and fashionable is going to be worth wearing in winter! Mainly because you are going to be freezing, but thankfully there are plenty of options for a girl who wants to be stylish and warm at the same time! Just follow these tips and we're sure you will have the time of your life at your next party!

Wear a Coat!
I know this might seem silly, but coats have a few unique properties that are going to make your life a lot easier! For one, they are really warm. A long coat can keep you covered, and look stylish while you are waiting to get into a place that has some heating. Once you are in doors you can easily just take the coat off, and you can reveal that cute fashionable bandage dress that you've been hiding all night.

Wear a Cute Hat!
While a cute hat might not match that bandage dress that your concealing under your coat, it will match the coat. A hat is going to keep your head warm, and that is one of the worst places that woman ignore. We realize that you do not want to mess up the sleek sexy hair that you have going on, but you need to cover up. Once you are indoors you can take off the hat with the coat!

Stockings!
While sometimes you want to rock those legs of yours, winter is not really the best time for it. Stockings come in all kinds of shades, designs, and styles. There is going to be more than one stocking that can easily match that cute little dress of yours, but best of all they are going to keep your legs nice and warm. Once summer comes you can rock your bare legs all you want in your cute summer outfit.

Boots!
I know that boots do not always go with that dress you want to wear, but sometimes you really should avoid wearing your best heels in winter. The worst thing you want to do is slip on some ice ruining your evening or worse. There are a lot of cute little boots out on the market, and winter is the perfect time to rock different looks.

Be Yourself!
Remember that you are always going to be the most comfortable when you are yourself. Never try and rock something that you are not 100% comfortable with, but do not get boring. Take risks and wear something that you might not always picture yourself wearing. As long as you are having fun then no one is going to be getting hurt.

Common Misconceptions About Forensic Animations

There seems to be many preconceived notions about forensic animations and their overall use in litigation. Many times, lawyers or accident reconstructionists will say that "An animation can show whatever the animator wants" or "Animations are difficult to admit in a court of law". However, to a forensic animator, this is also like saying, that your accountant can "fix your books". In reality, it is far from the truth.

"An animation can show whatever the animator wants"
Perhaps it is the fact that so much of what we see on television and in films is altered with lifelike special effects that we tend to associate anything with 3D visualization with more than a hint of skepticism. Ironically, much of the same software used to animate films such as "Spiderman" or "Lord of the rings" is also less known to be used in scientific visualization, research and forensic animations. People may associate the fact that an experienced special effects animator is capable of creating surreal, yet realistic looking effects. Therefore, it must not be accurate.

The greatest difference between a forensic animation and just any other type of animation is the "forensic" part. This implies that there is a large effort in understanding the details of what is being animated and that there is a large emphasis ensuring a high level of accuracy. An animator can spend more than 70% of his time on activities related to the verification of data and ensuring accuracy in the animation.

An experienced and qualified forensic animator would tell you that a large effort goes into building and checking each step of the animation process to the correct and accurate dimensions. In fact, very little is left to the imagination since most recreations are based on accurate data typically provided by the expert witness. A simple example is the terrain data of a particular scene. This can be obtained by means of a total station along with the positions of important features such as signs, traffic lights, debris or tire marks on the roadway.

Even the animation and motion of objects in a 3D recreation is typically based on information or data provided by the expert witness. This data is often obtained through careful calculations or through the use of simulation software. In the case of simulation software, the data can be directly converted or imported directly into the 3D animation software, leaving little room for error.
There may be cases where the forensic animator is provided with less than ideal information, however, even in these rare instances, an experienced forensic animator will have enough knowledge to ensure that the basic rules of geometry and physics (i.e. motion) are applied and adhered to.
